Our offices are located on the southwest corner of Patriot and Lehigh in the Patriot Courtyards. From Willow, turn South on Patriot. The first intersection is Lehigh. There is a stoplight. Take a right (West). Lehigh will dead end. There are two two-story buildings that will be on your left. There is a glass enclosed stairwell/elevator system in between. Click to view map Stuart Robertson, GG (GIA)Stuart Robertson is the Research Director for Gemworld International, Inc., located in Glenview, Illinois. Gemworld International, Inc., is a research and consulting firm that monitors relevant developments regarding the worldwide diamond and colored gemstone trade. Mr. Robertson was appointed Gemworld’s Research Director and Gemstone Editor in October of 1998. His primary responsibilities include supervising the collection and interpretation of pricing data and related research conducted by the company’s research staff.Mr. Robertson also conducts general research and authors reports and articles regarding market trends observed in areas including: exploration and mining from established geological locations, as well as issues related to treatment disclosure, identification and detection of treatments and their effect on pricing and value. Mr. Robertson has presented lectures on various aspects of gemology in both public and gem industry forums. Mr. Robertson has more than 20 years experience in the jewelry industry. Course material included the Foundations of Professional Practice, Ethics and Conduct of the Professional Appraiser, Business Communication and Development, Report Writing Techniques, Terminology, Identification and Authentication Procedures, Methodology of Market and Value Research, Determining Function and Purpose of Appraisal, Detailed Narrative Report Writing, Principles of Appraising for U.S. Federal Tax Functions, Legal Aspects of Appraising, and Responsibilities of the Personal Property Appraisal Practitioner. The courses concluded with an extensive, qualifying examination. Continuing Education Participation in educational seminars, lectures and conferences are an important aspect to staying competent in a professional field. Drucker, GGRichard Drucker is the president of Gemworld International, Inc. in Glenview, Illinois. As a third generation jeweler, he entered the business in 1979. In 1982, he began a pricing publication now known as the GemGuide. The GemGuide is used in more than 20 countries. In 2002, he became the owner and licensing distributor for GemGuide Appraisal Software, a sophisticated program used by nearly 1,000 jewelry appraisers. Drucker now serves as publisher, appraiser, consultant, lecturer, and author.Actively involved in the jewelry industry, he was the president of the Illinois-Wisconsin GIA Alumni chapter from 1987-1991. In 1993, he was elected as the first Chairman of the Gemological Institute of America Alumni & Associates International Board of Governors and in 2000 he received an Alumni Leadership Award for exemplary service in this role. He is now a board member on the GIA Alumni Executive Committee. In 2006, he was bestowed the Antonio C. Bonanno Excellence in Gemology industry award. In 2007, Drucker was appointed to the board of the American Gem Trade Association Gem Testing Center, located in New York. Drucker has lectured for many organizations throughout the world including the Gemological Institute of America Alumni Association, American Society of Appraisers, International Society of Appraisers, American Gem Trade Association, Accredited Gemologists Association, National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, American Gem Society, Canadian Gemmological Association, Scottish Gemmological Association, and the National Association of Goldsmiths (United Kingdom). He has been an integral part of many legal cases including work for the Internal Revenue Service, the United States Postal Inspector, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the United States Customs Service. Credentials include: Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America; Senior Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers; Registered Master Valuer #461802; Senior Gemologist—Accredited Gemologists Association (past-Vice President).
