Ms. Southwick is an appraiser of both modern and antique jewelry. She is the licensed owner of "The Jewelry Judge," Natick, an international network of highly qualified jewelry appraisers.

Ms. Southwick has been involved in the jewelry industry for more than 25 years. Employed by firms such as Bailey, Banks, and Biddle and Shreve, Crump and Low, she has had the opportunity to buy and sell multiple collections of fine jewelry, diamonds and collectible wristwatches.

While studying toward a degree in gemology, Ms. Southwick worked and trained with estate and antique jewelry dealers and appraisers from all over the world. Her travels allowed her to interact on industry trading floors with famous and prestigious jewelers from Hollywood to New York.

In 1996, Ms. Southwick earned her Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America. With this new accreditation combined with her diverse market experience, she began her appraisal practice.

The jewelry industry is ever changing and growing. Ms. Southwick keeps current with appraisal manuals, auction results, current price guides, trade periodicals, GIA reference books and attends industry trade shows regularly.

Over the years, Ms. Southwick has developed a large number of loyal clients who continue to rely on her for professional advice and personal service. It is her goal as a gems and jewelry appraiser to deliver and maintain exceptional service and quality in a timely and professional manner.

Ms. Southwick is currently a member of The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers supporting and abiding by the organization's "Code of Professional Ethics."
